Extensive galleries set within a stunning gardens on a hotel's estate
The aim of this art installation is to bring art and nature together to be enjoyed in a tranquil complex set in an original 15th century Mallorcan country estate.
Delicately and exquisitely restored, covering an area of 76,000 m2 the estate is full of spectacular gardens, paths, sculptures, marble columns, ethnic art, antiques, palm trees, pine forests and endless secluded corners where to immerse yourself in the purest Mediterranean essence.
The whole complex is devoted to the concept of “Land Art”. A movement in contemporary art that uses settings and materials with the aim of arousing emotions in the spectator who views the landscape; in this case breath-taking gardens and buildings of the Es Revellar estate. The estate also holds an important and unique display of ethnic art within Spain as well as contemporary paintings and much more.
The guests at this boutique hotel have exclusive access to the art on display, but guided tour are possible on request. The complex also organises Art Experiences during the summer season where art lovers can enjoy a guided tour through the estate’s gardens or join them for an evening of regional gastronomy and art nights.
