Tucked away on Carrer de Sant Magí, Idem is one of Santa Catalina’s classic evening hangouts. Part café, part cocktail bar, it slips effortlessly from laid-back aperitif spot to late-night haunt. Inside, expect theatrical touches, low lighting and a slightly bohemian feel; outside, a buzzy terrace perfect for people-watching. Come for a well-mixed cocktail, stay for the atmosphere, it’s very much a Santa Catalina institution.
They serve snacks (open sandwiches and tapas) and there is a terrace out the back with heaters should you wish to sample their cocktails in the open air.
It opens at 19:00/20:00 and picks up with the pre-club crowd later in the evening. Closing time is 03:00 in summer and 02:00 in winter. Wifi is also available.
