Iconic bar in the centre of Deia, famous for hosting rockstars
Opened in 1988, this bar rapidly became a hotspot where Deia's famous inhabitants and visitors would gather and play music at some of the most legendary parties on the island. Nowadays, it still attracts big names in the music scene.
In the 1960s, a hotel stood in this place hosting celebrities like Charlton Heston and Jimi Hendrix. When it became a bar in 1988, it started attracting the likes of Mike Oldfield, Sting, Liam Gallagher, Kevin Ayers, Kate Moss, Michael Douglas, Bob Geldof, Bono, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Damon Albarn, Harry Styles or Liam Gallagher.
Nowadays, regular visitors include Paul Simonon from The Clash, Rhys Ifans, Lily Allen and photographer Mario Sorrenti. At this understated cafe and bar, they serve hot and cold drinks and snacks, including tapas, burgers and cakes which you can enjoy inside or on their beautiful patio terrace. They also have a regular calendar of live music and exhibitions throughout the year.
