Manacor Autumn Fair - Fira de Septembre

The Fira de Septiembre in Manacor celebrates autumn

Location

This September fair in the town of Manacor features live music, outdoor picnics, art exhibitions and markets to celebrate local produce and crafts.

As summer winds down, Manacor welcomes the change of season with its much-loved Fira de Setembre, one of the island's most authentic autumn markets. Traditionally held around the third weekend of September, the fair transforms Avinguda dels Pins de sa Torre into a lively showcase of Mallorcan craftsmanship, local produce and community spirit.

Expect stalls piled high with artisan goods and Balearic products, an exhibition and sale of organic-certified produce, and giants ("gegants") dancing through the crowds throughout the day courtesy of the Colla Gegantera de Manacor. Evenings bring a more festive edge, with past editions featuring swing music, craft beer tastings and a "Nit de Tapes del Món" pairing local restaurants with international flavours.

Children's entertainment, vintage car and motorcycle displays, and a bustling atmosphere of locals and visitors make this a fitting send-off to summer in one of Mallorca's most historic towns, best known as the birthplace of Rafael Nadal and home to the island's famous Majorica pearl industry.
