New addition to the Calvia Beach Resort Majorca
Theme Park added to the new Magaluf Beach Resort
Last week we reported that the Melia Sol Hotel complex in the new Calvia Beach Resort would have its own surf pool and Nikki Beach Club, and now the hotel resort is adding to it's entertainment portfolio. As of 2013 the Sol Magaluf Park hotel will team up with the family favourite Katmandu Theme Park, to create the Sol Katmandu Resort hotel.
The park which has attractions for adults and families offers rides, games and restaurants. A specially designed minigolf, a haunted mansion, a 4D cinema, laser tag and an interactive experience called "the Mansion" as well as a Tex Mex restaurant called "Tequila Ville" are all part of a theme park designed to entertain, amuse, excite and scare. As well as, we suspect, make you utter the classic holiday line; "I'm never drinking tequila again."
Entrance to the park will be free for guests of the Sol Katmandu Resort. The two companies aim to work closely together to create a unique holiday experience which they hope will continue to transform Magaluf & Majorca back into a prime tourist resort.
