October Heat Wave in Mallorca

Temperatures are above normal & the beaches in Mallorca are quiet

It seems that now all the crowds have left and the summer in Mallorca is over there has never been a better time to visit the beaches.

Although we are now well into Autumn and many part of Europe are preparing for what is predicted to be the coldest winter in 100 year Mallorca is enjoying a heat wave. Temperatures eight degrees above normal are being reported and although no official records have been reported by the Meteorological Department yet temperatures in Portocolom have been peaking at 30.1 degrees.

Although there are some clouds on the forecast and maybe some rain for this weekend's Tui Marathon in Palma the forecast is for temperatures to remain in the mid to high 20's for the next few days. Perfect temperatures to make the most of the empty beaches in Mallorca.
