A large Spanish shipping company operating routes between the main ports of mainland Spain - Barcelona, Valencia and Denia - and the Balearic Islands.

Founded in 1998 the company has grown and now has a fleet of 17 ships, transporting some three million passengers in 2012. The on-board services provided vary from vessel to vessel but the majority cater for families, pets and have a range of entertainment facilities, including free WIFI, cinema, swimming pool, bars, restaurants and lounges.

Connecting the Spanish mainland to the Balearic Islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera as well as operating in the Strait of Gibraltar. The company have sailings between Palma and Barcelona, Denia and Valencia on the Spanish mainland and covering the three main routes from mainland Spain to Ibiza, they also offer journeys between Ibiza and Mallorca and also Formentera.

The island hosts all sorts of events, including agricultural fairs in the spring and autumn, live music and DJs in the summer, religious fiestas and international sporting events. Some of the most popular are the Mallorca 312 cycling race in April, the Copa del Rey sailing regatta in July and the Moors vs Christians mock battle in September.
