Mallorca's Instagram perfect restaurant
Pez Playa, the first 'instagramable' restaurant in the world
There are plenty of Instagram-worthy places on the gorgeous island of Mallorca but none of them offer the services of Pez Playa Restaurant. In their efforts to become the first 'instagramable' restaurant in the globe, they've made sure that diners don't leave without taking at least a handful of pics deserving the #foodporn hashtag.
Located in the contemporary ME Hotel, on Magaluf's beachfront, Pez Playa serves Spanish cuisine with modern Asian and South American flavours, all with some of the best sea views in the area. The carefully planned presentation of their signature dishes makes them definitely 'instagramable'. Think creations like "Salmon tartare with avocado and pineapple", "Black rice with squid and fried cuttlefish", "Iberian meat with truffle purée and Es Trenc salt" or "Chocolate mousse, mango sorbet and coconut foam".
Their waiters have been intensively trained in the art of Instagram #foodporn. The first thing they will check when you arrive is your battery, if it's too low they'll charge it for free at the hotel's reception. Once seated at your table, their friendly waiters will give you a list of instructions to help you take the best shot possible: include a cocktail or wine glass in your frame, get some colour splashes in there with a napkin or some table decorations, use the wonderful sea views as your backdrop... The restaurant has the best light to create some Instagram magic and even the tables are perfectly illuminated, so there's no excuse not to take the perfect pic.
