Brasa Madre Restaurant

Enjoy the best ‘asado’ Argentinian beef cuts on an open wood fire

Location
Santa Ponsa

A niche steakhouse in a historic setting where grilled meats and Mediterranean cuisine combine .

With a loyal local following, this small restaurant is tucked away on a quiet back street close to La Lonja. In this family-owned Argentinian restaurant you can savour not only lovely cocktails and authentic meat dishes, including their renowned Dry Aged meats.

The menu also boasts a selection of fish and seafood sourced from the Mediterranean. You can start with the Argentine tradition of empanada - but this one is not your usual - it is packed with slow-cooked osso buco and provolone cheese.

Every week Chef Gonzalo Chávez hand picks a selection of cuts for the menu. The most celebrated dry aged meats are Bos Taurus Primigenius breed, Authentic Mountain Brown Ox, Simmental and Certified Angus from Argentina. For those who prefer fish, there is a delicious ‘Turbot tiradito’’ where thin sashimi style turbot fish is topped with pork crackling’.

Additionally, there is a lovely private dining space for dinners and corporate events up to 29 people.
