La Bodega Restaurant

Fantastic tapas and service on the main square with a great wine selection

Location
Cala d'Or

This traditional Spanish restaurant is situated within the heart of Cala d'Or and has a phenomenal reputation for providing fantastic food, service and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.

Tucked into the oldest square in Cala d'Or, La Bodega has been bringing the soul of Spain to this sunny corner of Mallorca since 2013. The charming interior, dressed in wood, stone and cork detailing, hints at the restaurant's real passion - wine, with a cellar drawing from Spain, Mallorca, France, Italy, Argentina, California and New Zealand. The menu leans into classic Spanish tapas done well: patatas bravas, crispy croquetas, Spanish tortilla, sobrasada, and a changing line-up of montaditos, alongside grilled meats, fresh fish, pizzas and pastas for those after something heartier.

There's also an "all you can eat" option and a children's menu (ice cream included), making it as easy for families as it is for couples sharing plates over a bottle of Mallorcan red. Multilingual staff and English menus keep things simple for visitors, and diners can choose between the atmospheric interior or the terrace overlooking the square. La Bodega is open daily from April to October (typically 11:30 until late), with takeaway available for those who'd rather enjoy it at home
