After winning two of the most prestigious sporting events in the world, the Tour de France and the Olympics, Bradley Wiggins has been spotted back in Mallorca where he's taking a well deserved holiday in Pollenca. Many of the Team GB cyclists trained in Majorca before the London Olympics and rumour has it that Wiggins has fallen in love with the island and is thinking of buying a house here.

Although the British cyclists are regular visitors to Mallorca one of the island's own will soon be coming home with an Olympic medal. Last night Brigitte Yague took silver in the Womens -49kg Taekwondo. The 31 year old from Palma faced the defending Olympic Champion Jingyu Wu in the final and after three rounds was beaten 9-1.

After Yague's success and the phenomenal medal haul from Team GB's cyclists it's fair to say that Mallorca has proved a great training ground for athletes at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
