Serious Injuries for 10th Balcony Fall in Balearics this Summer
A young English man has fallen from his balcony in the Mallorca beach resort of Magaluf.
According to the Diario de Mallorca twenty two year old Timothy James fell from his fourth floor balcony in the early hours of Sunday morning. The young man is currently in Son Espases hospital in a serious condition. He had been in Mallorca less than 24 hours when the accident occurred at the Honolulu Hotel in Magaluf.
Reports indicate that Mr James had been on the balcony alone when he fell and that his friends were unaware of the incident as they were asleep in the hotel room. This balcony fall is the tenth this summer in the Balearics. Four of the previous falls have been fatal.
