Elton John set to perform with Andrea Bocelli - tickets on sale 21st June
Elton John will be performing live with Andrea Bocelli in Mallorca this summer, with what is set to be a very exciting time for local and international fans alike.
Preparations on transforming the ONO Stadium in Palma into the set for one of the biggest and most elaborate concerts in Europe on Saturday, September 4, 2010 will get under way next week.
The man behind the concert, Swede Onni Nordstrom, is a former ice hockey champion in the USA and Canada. He has more than 40 years experience in promoting and representing some of the top musical artists and acts in the world.
Andrea Bocelli will start the evening at around 7.30pm and perform a two hour set with the backing of the 76-piece Balearic Symphony Orchestra, the 40-strong Balearic University Choir and two top sopranos which he himself is organising.
Then Elton John and his band, who will be flying in from the States, will perform a set of the very best of Elton due to last for another two hours.
Tickets are on sale from Monday 21st June 2010, and are available online at www.serviticket.com. Prices will range from €55 to €150 and all will be seated.
