Nikki Beach Dubai Meets Mallorca Event Review

The perfect fun afternoon & holiday treat

featured in Events reviews Author Emily Butcher, Mallorca Editor Updated

Nikki Beach are famous for their exceptional parties, and Dubai Meets Mallorca on Saturday 3rd September was yet again another amazing event with a fantastic, fun filled atmosphere.

Our Day Bed

Going for the full Nikki Beach experience, we had booked one of their pool beds so we could relax in style and be spoiled with their bed-side waiter service. We had a three person beach bed with towels and a wicker sofa for six of us. We arrived just after midday when the club was still relatively quiet but it quickly got busy and before too long every bed was taken (clearly word had got out that this was the place to be on a Saturday afternoon). Some of the guests raised a cheer as they entered having made the effort to dress up in Dishdashas.

Belly Dancers surrounding the Pool

With the music already going, out came the Arabian themed dancers in their colourful costumes getting everyone into the party mood. Having already tucked into a cocktail or two, we migrated from our comfortable beach bed towards the pool to join the other party goers but more importantly to achieve a life goal for our friend Beccie - to be sipping on a glass of wine in a pool at a beach party - check.

Life goals achieved!

After swaying along with the belly dancers surrounding the pool for a while, we returned to our bed to order some food. We had:

Tiger Shrimp Tacos which were absolutely delicious, the best fish taco we have ever had, Chicken Quesadilla - these cheese marinated chicken light bites were tasty and filling and a good option if you only want something small to keep you going. Slow Roasted Barbecue Ribs - The meat was very tender and fell off the bone as it should, Bali Summer Roll with lobster, king crab meat, surimi and shrimp. A great combination of flavours and the perfect dish for seafood lovers. Wagyu Beef Sliders - perfectly cooked mini hamburgers, which are so popular in Mallorca and Nikki Beach Signature Iced Coffee - a fantastic dessert cocktail that we had already heard about long before arriving at the club. An expresso with Vanilla Vodka, Frangelico, Baileys, Ferrero Rocher ice cream and orange essence.

Tiger Shrimp Tacos

With our bellies full we order more cocktails and with the party now in full swing, some of the other guests had begun to order Magnum's of Champagne, each with their own fun little presentation ceremony which included the delivery of the bottle with sparkles on the back of motorbike!

Champagne Magnum Delivery!

Different belly dancing acts, saxophone player etc continued to provide entertainment right up until closing at 20:00 by which time we definitely need an early night after so many scrumptious Raspberry Mojitos, Balinese Collins and Frozen Margaritas.

Arabian Dancers

It is worth noting that the club also has access to the beach so if you want to take a little break from the party, you can enjoy a swim in the sea and relaxation on the beach sun-beds.

Party in full swing

Having had my first Nikki Beach experience, my ultimate piece of advice is, if you haven't already been to Nikki Beach this summer or need another excuse to go, don't miss out on the best beach parties around - book your spot at one of their Amazing Sundays or their Red Closing Party on 1st October 2016! The staff are extremely attentive, fun and helpful and will ensure you have the best experience possible.
