Caving trip in a spectacular sea cave, Cova de Coloms, in Mallorca
Cova de Coloms is one of the only sea caves that allow you to explore a natural wonder and also swim in the crystal clear pools made thousands of years ago. This cave is truly unforgettable, boasting a “wow” factor that surpasses any tourist attraction.
Located on the coast of Cala Romantica you start your tour with a 40 minute walk across the cliff tops offering panoramic views of the east coast of Mallorca. Once you reach a small beach it is a 300-meter journey swimming out to the cave. One duck under the water at the entrance unlocks the secret to this truly enchanting and magical sea cave.
Your experienced guide will explain how the movement of water affects both the formation and mineral content of sea cave stalagmites; they exhibit a variety of amazing red colours that glisten like diamonds on the walls of this underground maze.
You will spend approximately 1 hour exploring the cave before heading back to the beach.
During the Sea Caving, they provide you with all your personal protective equipment, including a wetsuit. However, you will need trainers that cover your entire foot during the coastal walk. Please note:-The safety of their customers is paramount and if the sea is dangerous you guide will take you to explore 2 other caves including one with water.

You cannot miss these caves as you drive from Manacor to Porto Cristo. Most people only want to visit one set of caves during their time on Mallorca and the giant billboards and flags at the entrance are an attempt to ensure that this is the one. In fact you are better off continuing to the 'Cuevas del Drach' or up the coast to the 'Coves d'Arta'.
