Mallorca Festivals, Fiestas & Fairs 2016

What's On in Mallorca during 2016?

featured in News & reviews Author Nicola Henderson, Site Editor Updated

Mallorca's local town halls have released dates for some of their traditional fairs, fiestas and festivals for 2016. Most of these local fiestas are agricultural, historical or artisanal in nature and are well worth a visit as a part of your holiday.

We have just listed the dates for some of the bigger events here, as no further information is currently available - festival programmes tend to be released about a week before the event. For a full round up, please take a look at our Events Calendar, and check back closer to the time of the event to find the most up to date information.

Not all dates for some major events have been confirmed, and many of the local village fairs and night markets during the summer are not yet included.

Please note, despite the date confirmation of these events, it is still possible that fiestas will be cancelled, postponed, have a date-change - and all at last minute! These decisions tend to be council-related, as they may decide they haven't enough money to run the events this year.
