As any savvy influencer would do, Emily Ratajkowski has been sharing envy-inducing pictures of her holidays in Mallorca this week. However, the model has gone beyond the normal Insta-worthy posts by publicly proclaiming her love for the island.

On a post which combines pictures of her as a child on the island and current photos of her trip here, she wrote: "MALLORCA! I spent every summer of my childhood up until the age of 14 in a little town called Sant Joan in the middle of Mallorca. I hadn’t been back in 10 years and returning to rediscover the island as an adult was an unbelievable experience. Gracias por un viaje increible! โค๏ธ T'estimo Mallorca, tens un lloc especial al meu cor." The two last phrases translate as "Thanks for an incredible trip" (in Spanish) and "I love you Mallorca, you have a special place in my heart" (in Mallorquin).

Ratajkowski, one of the world's most sought-after models, spent a few days on the island with her husband, producer Sebastian Bear-McClard. Her Instagram feed followed her every step in Mallorca, where she stayed at luxury hotel La Residencia, in Deià. From there, they explored the Serra de Tramuntana in a rental car, discovering the charming villages and beaches that she visited as a kid.

Their trip took them to the stunning coves of Sa Calobra, Port des Canonge and Cala Deià, where they had lunch at the famous Ca's Patro March restaurant. Emily also shared pics of the village of Valldemossa, deep in the mountains and popular with VIPs since the 19th century.

However, it's not just the Serra de Tramuntana that they travelled over, as they also drove to the south-west of the island, sharing a video of the narrow streets of Santanyí and parking at Cala Llombards. She also shared a photo sitting on the terrace of Nana Café & Bistro, in the heart of Palma, on Plaça del Mercat. They even rented a motorboat to sail the Mallorcan waters.
