Directions

The start of this walk is the petrol station on Ctra. de Desviament near the Botanical gardens. On the opposite side of the road to the petrol station there is a paved road signposted as the Es Rost pathway. Follow this road and it soon turns to a dirt track and you cross the stream of Cinc Ponts on some stepping stones. In the middle of an olive growth the path reappears, now with some excellent cobbling. Once you pass the train track and reach the point above a tunnel you must turn off the Es Rost path and turn left onto the path of Mont-Reials. Continuing along this path it gains height quickly and passes two gates and follows along the train track. The route then passes the houses of Mont-Reials and some walls and a shed, before meeting the Castello path. Turning left, you follow this route until coming to the Rocafort path. A sign shows the start of the path, follow some bends at the start of the steep descent. Here you will discover some spectacular views of Soller and the surrounding environment. You then loose height quickly and cross the train tracks, this time via a stone bridge. The olive trees gradually give way to citrus trees and the path becomes paved, follow this route for a few minutes to return to the starting point.
