Ximo Villa

24 Oct 2026, 7 Nights, 1-8 people, Self-catered
From £1,195

Nestled at the end of a quiet country lane, Ximo is superbly situated for easy access to both the bustling town of Alcúdia and the Romanesque Old Town of Pollença. Complete with a generous garden providing plenty of ‘green space’ to revel in, this hospitable home is ideal for those looking for a countryside escape, with only a short drive to an abundance of local amenities.

With traditional Mallorquin wares furnishing the interior, this lovingly maintained house offers comfortable accommodation for a multigenerational family or assembly of friends. Entrance is through a solid wooden door into an open plan lounge/dining area (A/C, TV, DVD, WiFi). A separate kitchen incorporates a breakfast alcove, a small pantry and larger utility room (washing machine). In keeping with the typical local charm of the rural dwellings of the area, attention to detail is the key, two wooden dining tables are particularly of note - so cherished and cared for that they look as good as the day they were crafted. The spacious bedrooms reveal from each window a glorious green backdrop of hills and rolling Mallorquin countryside - even waking up each morning will be something to write home about, certainly a great location to relish escape from the mundane day to day routine.

Unquestionably the most captivating part of this home is the beautifully nurtured garden, fringed by hedges and colourful shrubbery and overlooked by a wooden beamed terrace with ample space for al fresco dining, it affords stunning mountain views of the Sierra Tramontana encompassing this rural setting. Grass surrounds the larger-than-norm pool which will surely tempt those looking for respite from the midday heat. To appease those who may find lazy days and chilled out evenings a little tedious, a fun game of mini football or a table tennis tournament after lunch are a couple of distractions on hand.

Strategically positioned, Ximo is perfectly placed to enjoy all that the North East of Mallorca has to offer. Striking Old Town Alcúdia with its walled labyrinth of side streets teeming with restaurants and stores selling local products and upbeat Port de Pollença with its long stretch of sandy beach are just minutes away by car. Old Town Pollença is also a magnet for those seeking to enjoy the colour and diversity of local life - the Sunday morning market ranking high as a favourite holiday experience.
