Cala Sa Nau Beach
Beautiful bay that's located just outside of Cala d'Or
Escape the crowds on the beaches of Cala d'Or by heading 3 km north to the bay of Cala Sa Nau. This relaxed beach is surrounded by pine trees and is very picturesque.
You'll find very comfy bamboo sunloungers for hire here as well as showers and toilets. There is also a beach bar that sells drinks and snacks.
You'll need your own transport to get here - car parking costs €3.50 for the day. Or take a boat trip if you can, the bay is popular with private boats.
The closest resorts are Cala d'Or to the south and Porto Colom, around 3 km to the north.

Setting & Location
The beach is around 40 metres long and 70 metres deep, and is situated at the end of a long sea inlet so you can't actually see the open sea from the beach.
Water Safety & Clarity
The bay, like most of the bays on the east coast, is sheltered and you can enjoy the clear blue waters by swimming or indeed, snorkelling.

Cala d'Or
Cala d'Or or ‘Golden Bay’ in English is the name given to a widely popular, family-friendly tourist resort in the east of the island. Its name could be related to the fact that you are guaranteed the greatest number of sunshine hours on this eastern coastline, being furthest away from the disruptive Serra de Tramuntana mountains, and its proximity to some of the island's best beaches.
