Ecocirer is a small, sustainable micro-hotel in the heart of Sóller, where history, nature and thoughtful design come together in a calm and welcoming setting. Housed in a restored early twentieth-century townhouse, once used as a silent cinema, the hotel has been carefully transformed into a peaceful family-run retreat with just six rooms and a separate cottage.
Surrounded by mountain views and located just a short walk from Sóller’s main square, Ecocirer combines village life with easy access to the Serra de Tramuntana and the island’s natural beauty. The lively local market, cafés and shops are all close by, while the atmosphere inside the hotel remains quiet and relaxed.
Each room has been designed with sustainability and comfort in mind, featuring queen-size beds with organic cotton linens, recycled furniture, natural materials and eco-friendly bathroom products scented with orange blossom oil from the family’s own finca. The interiors are bright and simple, with carefully chosen details and artwork by Mallorcan artist Francesca Martí adding a creative touch throughout the property.
Ecocirer is run by a Dutch-Mallorcan family whose lifestyle centres around sustainability, homemade food and a close connection to nature. Their philosophy is reflected in every aspect of the hotel, from the vegetarian and vegan breakfast options to the relaxed, home-like atmosphere and mindful approach to hospitality.
Guests can also take part in cooking experiences inspired by the family’s “farm to table” philosophy, with classes for both adults and children focusing on fresh, seasonal ingredients and sustainable cooking.
With its mix of history, sustainability and personal hospitality, Ecocirer offers a peaceful and authentic stay in one of Mallorca’s most charming towns.
