The wonderful local produce and imaginative chefs mean that there is a wide choice for fine dining on the island. We have compiled a list of the best gourmet restaurants in Mallorca. All serving innovative twists on the traditional Balearic fare, you'll not go wrong with any of these choices.

Avant-garde Mediterranean cuisine - Adriana Restaurant

Adriana is a gourmet restaurant within the luxury adults-only Pure Salt Hotel which boasts some of the best views over Port Adriano, a state-of-the-art marina famously designed by Philippe Starck. Chef Santi Taura gives his own name to this eatery where they serve a 6-course tasting menu that changes weekly for only 40€. Born and bred in Lloseta, Taura gets his inspiration from Mallorca's produce and landscapes to create stunning new recipes. Michelin-starred ruler – Zaranda Restaurant

Of the 9 Michelin star restaurants in Mallorca, Zaranda is the only eatery to be awarded 2 Michelin stars. It takes residence in an old 15th -century castle turned hotel, Castell Son Claret. Located in Calvia, this is an appropriate setting for the crème de la crème of restaurants on the island.
