Small luxury hotel in Palma's old town, traditionally styled
Wander into Palma’s gothic quarter and stumble across this 16th-century palace with original stained glass, chandeliers and tapestries which perfectly combines Mallorcan architecture with French, Italian and English styles. The hotel’s excellent location offer guests some stunning views of Palma’s bay and Cathedral.
The hotel is in the heart of Palma, in the"calle Miramar nº8" which was built in 1576. The hotel has 12 uniquely designed and decorated rooms, and interiors decorated with works of art by the likes of Miró, Calder and Bennàsar.
The hotel is equipped with comfortable lounges and meeting rooms, a library, a bar, a restaurant, a breakfast room, a quiet courtyard for relaxing and a spacious terrace for sunbathing.
Palacio Ca Sa Galesa offers a wide variety of quality services including Wi-Fi Internet access, 24 hour room service, express check-in/out, air conditioning, heating, parking facilities, free bike rental and a new wellness area with gym, thermal bath circuit, heated indoor pool, sauna, Roman bath, Jacuzzi and health and beauty treatments.
As an extra treat, the bathrooms in each bedroom come with a “bath menu,” featuring a choice of salts, oils, candles and aromatherapy, to help you unwind. You can order these from reception an hour in advance.
Situated on the first floor, it can be accessed via the hall on the main floor and it also leads on to the inner courtyard. Like all the spaces in the hotel, this area has a particular function as a bar and leisure area of the hotel. However, its versatility allows it to be adapted for small business conventions or larger events, as it also boasts a spectacular inner courtyard.
The "Café Ricks" is a large room leading on directly from the main entrance courtyard. Normally used as the breakfast room. This is one of the rooms with the most capacity and is ideal for catering for larger events of all kinds.
There is a terrace restaurant serving snacks and takeaway, with views over the Bay of Palma and the cathedral.
Their à la carte service is available throughout the day in the room or area of the hotel of your choice when ordered in advance. They offer a wide selection of starters, main courses and desserts, plus the option of combining dishes, to taste, with a range of sauces and garnishes. In addition, they cater for celiac and diabetic people and, of course, children.
