At Son Ametler, which is named after the Almond trees which dominate the 25 hectares of woods and pastures, that continue to farm olives, fruit trees, herbs and vegetables for use in the hotels kitchen. They are striving to combine typical Mallorquin rural values and stunning scenery with very modern services and facilities.
The team behind the nearby “Finca Hotel Es Castell”, (recently voted as “Spain’s Best Hotel” and featured in the Sunday Times Travel Section, Time Magazine, Lonely Planet Guide, the Guardian and Alistair Sawdays,) are proud to present this new boutique hotel, a higher quality offering at a lower price: The eight double rooms are tastefully decorated with a combination of traditional Mallorcan stone and flagstones, wrought iron and wooden furniture with modern Stainless Steel bathroom fittings and Italian stucco walls, giving guests an environment which is light, comfortable and relaxing, a “balsam for the spirit”.
All rooms include air-conditioning, safes and hair-dryers. Televisions, DVD and Fridges can also be supplied on request. One room is equipped with ramps and wide access doors for disabled people.

The pool
The square outdoor pool (9x9 metres) is set in a private garden surrounded by lush vegetation. There is both a stone terrace and wooden decking where you can position your sun-bed to soak the Mediterranean rays.
The Bar
There is a full service bar as well as a pool honesty bar for drinks and snacks throughout the day.
The Restaurant
This boutique hotel includes a little restaurant where they offer a full buffet breakfast from 08:00 until 10:30, which includes fresh fruit, home-made jams and yoghurts, freshly squeezed juices, a selection of breads and pastries, local hams and cheeses, eggs, bacon, and all that we can think of to make sure you have a memorable start to the day!
Have dinner, three times a week, on the outside terrace (weather permitting). The cuisine consists of a three course menu of typically Mediterranean delicacies. It is produced using the highest quality ingredients, nothing is frozen, all is sourced from the Finca itself or the local markets, and is prepared with the same dedication as in their sister Hotel Es Castell, which has received numerous accolades for its cuisine. Indulge your senses by adding to this gourmet experience fabulous Mallorcan wines, spectacular mountain views, and the sounds of the Mallorcan countryside.

Son Quint Golf Course
The 18-hole course at Son Quint was created by James Arnold in 2009 and probably counts as the youngest course on the island. It has been landscaped using the native plants of Mallorca - featuring olive, carob and pine trees. Leyland cypresses provide a lateral protection to one side of the course. Throughout the 6,780 meters length of the course, stone walls typical to Mallorca, oleander bushes and lantana flowers complete a challenging, but fun, short golf course.
