Son Gener Boutique Hotel

Peaceful countryside retreat near Artà with organic gastronomy, saltwater pools and serene Mediterranean surroundings

Set between Son Servera and Artà, Son Gener Boutique Hotel is a peaceful country retreat surrounded by almond trees, ancient olive groves and rolling hills with distant sea views. Housed within an 18th-century estate, the hotel combines traditional Mallorcan architecture with calm, contemporary interiors designed for relaxation and privacy.

The property is made up of two buildings: the original manor house, which features ten rooms, and a newer adjoining house with five additional rooms. Each room is individually designed, sharing a simple and natural style with soft neutral tones, light fabrics and carefully chosen furnishings that create a warm and restful atmosphere.

Throughout the hotel, the focus is on natural materials, open spaces and understated design. Outside, gardens filled with olive, almond and carob trees surround the estate, while terraces and shaded porches provide peaceful spots to enjoy the countryside views, breakfast outdoors or an evening aperitif.

Son Gener also places great importance on gastronomy, with a restaurant serving Mediterranean and Mallorcan dishes prepared using organic produce grown in the hotel’s own garden. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are at the centre of the experience, reflecting the property’s connection to the land.

For relaxation, the hotel offers a wellness area with a saltwater indoor pool, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and yoga space. There are also two outdoor saltwater pools, including one set slightly away from the main house for added privacy and another with views across the surrounding hills.

With its tranquil setting, natural surroundings and thoughtful approach to comfort, Son Gener Boutique Hotel offers a relaxed and authentic stay in the Mallorcan countryside.
