Originally the Palace of the Marquis of Ferrandell (c'an Maroto), the hotel was built in the 16th century and through the years has become symbolic for both architectural and historical reasons.
The original features lend an air of grandeur more befitting to its roots as a palace than to the idea of a modest two star hotel. The impressive interior belies a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere where you can enjoy your breakfast in the typical Mallorcan 'patio', characteristic of the era.
