Villas

This newly built impressive farmhouse luxury villa in Mallorca is the perfect country property that blends beautifully into its rural setting in Mallorca’s Marc Valley with great mountain views in its own plot of land offering complete privacy.

Inside the open-plan lounge/dining room opens onto a covered terrace, with additional outdoor living space. All bedrooms feature large patio doors facing the mountains, with natural light and beautiful views wherever you are. The villa is located in the northwest of Mallorca, one of the most beautiful regions, and only a few kilometres from the lovely historic old town of Pollensa as well as the beaches of Cala San Vicente and Puerto Pollensa.

Built using authentic, honey-coloured local stone with the windows and doors framed by traditional louvred shutters, the villa could easily be mistaken for a period Mallorcan farmhouse, complete with exposed timber beams and whitewashed interior walls. There are cool stone flooring to ensure guests enjoy comfortable temperatures even in the heat of mid-summer, helped by the lovely French doors that can be thrown open to welcome in the gentle breezes.

On the ground floor there is a spacious open plan lounge and dining area, with three sets of patio doors, opening onto a covered terrace where an outside dining suite can accommodate wonderful alfresco meals. Relaxing sofas, satellite TV and a DVD player provide for chilled out evenings.

The traditionally styled kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances and ample worktop space. With the array of fresh produce and delicacies available straight from the local producers at nearby Pollensa’s Sunday market, you’ll be only too eager to get to work on your culinary creations.

The villa boasts four simply but elegantly furnished bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bath or shower room clad in attractive limestone tiles. The downstairs room has doors opening directly onto the garden terrace while each upstairs room has access to either a Juliet balcony or an upper terrace from which to savour the magnificent countryside views.

Stepping out into the lawned gardens, you’ll find the house’s fabulous private pool sparkles invitingly, a luxurious turquoise oasis in this delightfully rustic backdrop. A table tennis table is provided for anyone looking for a little light competition while golfers will be pleased to know that it’s an easy drive from here to several of Mallorca’s lush courses.

Within ten minutes of the house, you can be browsing the craft shops in Pollensa’s pretty cobbled streets, sipping coffee at a table in the main square or climbing the 365 steps to the Calvari church for its magnificent views. The bay of Puerto Pollensa is also within easy reach to feel the sand between your toes, take a dip in the calm waters and indulge your taste-buds with the huge choice of eateries on offer before retreating once again to the glorious tranquillity of Vall D’en Marc.
