This rural hotel offers spectacular views over the Tramuntana Mountain range, located in the pretty village of Fornalutx, surrounded by lemon and orange trees and olive groves. It is an ideal venue for walkers, for those who want to explore the island and for those who simply want to relax by the pool in the hotel garden.

The name “Reus” comes from the family who once owned this handsome house. Senor Reus made his fortune in the early 19th century by exporting citrus fruits from Mallorca to France. He introduced Parisian touches to the interior of the house, adding extra elegance to the otherwise traditional, Mallorcan architecture and furnishings. It is this unique character which the current British owners, Sue and Nick Guthrie, seek to preserve. Each room is different and has been lovingly decorated and designed to offer comfort and style.

The terrace with its spectacular view of the Tramuntana is the perfect backdrop at any time of the day, whether it is enjoying breakfast or a glass of Mallorcan wine. Their buffet breakfast table is a speciality of C'an Reus and they serve the best of local produce. On occasion they also serve dinner which all our guests are invited to.

There is also a beautiful garden and a swimming pool.

"This was our fourth visit to Ca'n Reus and the experience was as enjoyable as ever. It is a delightful informal hotel in a magical location. Having breakfast on the terrace with wonderful views and delicious food is one of life's great pleasures! We've always enjoyed meeting other guests at Ca'n Reus in the informal and intimate atmosphere that Sue and Nick have created, and much appreciated the willing help given by Adriana and the staff whenever we requested it.
